CAS11 Encouragement Card Challenge

Did you know I am a California girl?  Born & raised.  The CA state flower is a poppy, so everytime I see one I think of home.  This month's inspiration photo for the Calling All Sistahs encouragement challenge has me thinking of California in the summer.  Which is funny because we have snow in the forecast for SW Washington this week.

For this challenge you can use either the photo or the color chips (or both) to create a card that will encourage the recipient.  I used the colors and flowers, but I took some liberty with the style of flower.  It's not poppies, but it is bright and cheerful.  I made it for a friend that is battling cancer and is having a rough time.  I pray it brings her some comfort.

We would LOVE to have you join us for this challenge.  Head on over to the Calling All Sistahs blog and enter your card(s) for a chance to win!  Plus, you'll see the amazing creations by the encouragement squad!
Stamps: Peace & Comfort (CAS-ual Fridays Stamps)
Ink: Bellini, Lime Rickey, Mandarin Spice, Orange Twist, Tiki Torch, Tutti Frutti (Catherine Pooler Designs) Onyx Black (Versafine)
Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder (Stampin' Up)
